Story: Oh the land yacht, the car that doesn’t lie to start or stop. This time around I don’t have to crank it for too long to get it started. It’s more the stopping that is the issue this time around. Fun thing about leaving an old car in a field is apparently brake hoses are tasty snacks for the critters. The brakes are drained down to the point the brake pedal has zero effect. I coast down the hill and again get stuck in a drainage ditch. It doesn’t take much work getting the car unstuck and I’m on my way down the road. I push the brake pedal over and over hoping each time will be different, but I am in a brakeless car. My left foot even joins the right on the brakes hoping it will slow me down. This was a terrible idea to go for a drive in this car.
