I’m Really Sorry

I’m sorry that you have such a rough life. I can just look at you and tell that your entire existence has been miserable. I’m sorry that everyone around you thinks that you’re pathetic. That everyone looks at you and sees someone who is beneath them. I’m sorry that you’re just going to have to keep dealing with it, it’s not like it will ever change. My being sorry doesn’t make it any less true. My being sorry doesn’t somehow make you worth something other than pity.
